How It Came To Be
My name is Krista Koenig, or as lots of people call me, Red. Self confessed paper hoarder, ribbon saver, chipboard gatherer, paper flower finder & general paste eater.
I started scrapbooking when my husband went to Korea for the 2nd time in 2001. It was a great way to keep busy and was better for me than drinking. Notice I didn't say cheaper! In no time at all I was hooked; lock, stock & barrel. Or should that be eyelet, brad & button??! Since then my style and projects have evolved.
My passion has expanded from creating layouts & pages to include handcrafting invitations, mini albums, cards, calendars and so much more. By now, if it doesn't move it's liable to wind up recolored, glued and all together embellished. And if it's been considered for the trash can, it's likely had this said about it, "Aunt Krista can scrap with that!" and been gleefully passed along to me & squirreled safely away.
What I Do
I teach classes as often as possible at stores through out Arizona as well as demonstrate at the National Craft & Hobby Association conventions on a regular basis. Once a Year Events
The 2011 Shop 'til you Drop Shopping Tours didn't get the minimum required number of sign ups and had to be canceled. I'm very disappointed to not be able to bring this event to our out of town visitors and local stores. We had a fantastic time with this event in 2009. I'm hopeful that 2011 will bring the opportunity to offer these tours again.

The first annual Stamp, Paper, Scissors Craft Hop was a roaring success!! 11 fabulous stores participated in the event this year and saw lots & lots of happy scrappers. And stampers, And crafters. :)
